the beat of the bass
the wild hum of the horns
the whistle of the woodwinds
can you hear it
the beat of my heart.

that my Lord and Savior
that breath that God
ever so lovingly
breathed in
and out
straight into my lungs
can you hear it
the music of nature
the music of the soul
the music that our savior
intended us to hear
among the trees
deep inside
hiding
all you have to do is just listen
and pray
